With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Wood (Norris City, Illinois), born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2018 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter MaryKate Hogan; and his brothers, Leon Milligan, Kelley E. Wood, Jr. and Delbert H. York. He is survived by: his parents, Kelley E. and Melba Wood (Graham); his wife Marla; his children, George Wood (Heather) of Carmi and MaryBeth Hogan (Robert) of Monroe City, MO; his grandchildren, Titus K., Aurora G. Hogan, Henry W. and Genevieve J. Hogan; his siblings, George R. Wood of Harrisburg, David T. Wood (Phyllis) of Shawneetown, Troy Milligan of Harrisburg, Mary Frances Skaggs of Shawneetown, Tracie Milligan of Pawleys Island, SC and Prudance Wilson (George) of Radcliff, KY.; and his close friend Lucketts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House in Springfield, IL and Carmi Junior Pro football and can be made at the funeral home.
