We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2020, at the age of 78, Walter Tidwell of Norris City, Illinois, born in Flora, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carley Franklin and Myrtle B. Tidwell (Jenkins); his wife Patty McDurmon; and his siblings, Rosie Willis, Nora Durbin, Frank and Richard Tidwell.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron Tidwell of New Haven and Joseph Tidwell of Arthur, IL; his stepsons, Dale Loehr of Flora and Paul Loehr of Bakersville, CA; and his siblings, Alice Ashley of Edgewood, IL, Linda Harrelson of Norris City, Carol Smith of Norris City, George Tidwell of Norris City and Robert Tidwell of Palestine, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital, to assist children in the burn unit, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
