With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray James of Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray James to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren McKenzie and Thelma McKenzie (Kennedy); and his sister Sheila Horste. He is survived by: his wife Sue Myer; his children, Kimberly Rae "Kimmie" Garlick (Ron) of Norris City and Micheal Justin "Judd" James (Jennifer) of Carmi; his siblings, Wayne McKenzie (Ruth) of Norris City, Euna Stokes (Ronnie) of Norris City and Rosie Waters of Channahon, IL; his grandchildren, Chris Garlick (Ashley), Caitlin Noel (Jonathon) and Jace Carter; and his great grandchildren, Mitchell Noel and Westyn Garlick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers. donations may be made to the White County Relay for Life and may be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
