She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe B. Smith and Mattie L. Smith (Peyton); her son Brent Ray Becker; and her brothers, Kenneth and Junior Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her daughter Michelle; her son-in-law David Hunsinger of Carmi; her grandchildren, Danielle Burzynski (Vance), Lauren Fechtig (Cole), Andrew Hunsinger (Kelsi) and Alex Hunsinger (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Grover, Albert, Emmett, Lottie Burzynski, Lane and Abigail Fechtig.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (201 E Main St, Norris City, IL 62869). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Phyllis' memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home or by mail to 609 W.
