He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bland and Naomi Smith (Boals); and his brother Gene Alan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Smith of Norris City, IL; his children, Rebecca Tibbs of Norris City, IL and Ashly Smith of Norris City, IL; his grandchildren, Nicholas Stensrud (Makiah Shafer), Alexander "Mikey" Stensrud (Jade Standley), Dustin Tibbs, Nicholas Tibbs, Ethan Tibbs (Mahayla Rogers), Jade Tibbs and Tristan "T. C." Tibbs; his great grandchildren, Tinley Stensrud, Willow Stensrud and Layne Tibbs; his sister Peggy Brewer of Norris City, IL; and his nephew Billy Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (201 E Main St, Norris City, IL 62869).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
