She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Claud and Inis Awalt (Rister); her husband Carl F. Short; and her siblings, Fae Swango and C. M. Awalt.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Short (Jennie) of Norris City, Rance Short of Norris City, Paul Short (Joy) of Norris City and Rick Short (Jill) of Broughton; her sister Dorthy Johnston of Joelton, TN; her grandchildren, Kara Hussmann, Meagan Short, Abbie Martin, Zac Short, Savannah Dorris, Seth Short, Briar Short and Alexa Rubenacker; and her great grandchildren, Siler, Alaina, Judson, Riggs Hussmann, Luke Short, Rhett, Vivianne Dorris and Ezra Short.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Juanita's memory to Shiloh United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 398 Norris City, IL, 62869 or the Linda White Hospice House and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
