He is survived by: his parents, George Dismuke and Sue Ellen Dismuke (Curtner); his wife Jenny; his son Codie Dismuke of Norris City; his siblings, Todd Dismuke (Robin) of Belleville, IL, Eric Dismuke (Paula) of Harrisburg and Michelle Musgrove (Rustin) of Gulf Shores, AL; his sisters-in-law, Rosa Cox of Norris City and Missy Chilton (Charity) of Norris City; his niece Sophia; and his stepfather Noel Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's memory to the McLeansboro Eagles or the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is assisting the family with arrangements.
