He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Buttry and Lola Buttry (Taylor); his wife Mary; his brother Roy Buttry, Jr.; and his son-in-law Mike Musgrave.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Musgrave of Evansville, IN, Susan Renshaw (Jim) of Carmi, IL, Claudie Parson (John Mike), Pascalle Bippert (Brian), Viviane Bain (Pat) and Erika Kirby (Carey); and his grandchildren, Misty Lafollette (Jared), Brooke Douglas (David), Jessica Simpson (Nick) and Alan Stratton. He is also survived by grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jim's memory to the White County Senior Center, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
