It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen McGehee of Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriet Wheeler and Leland Wheeler of Norris City; her husband Wilburn McGehee; and her siblings, Bertis Wheeler, Marvin Wheeler, Eugene Jordan, Gail Rogers, Clotine Flannigan, Carolyn McGhee, Faye Wheeler and Charles Wheeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold "Bim" Wheeler of Norris City and Robert McGehee of Enfield; her grandchildren, Melissa Shepard (George), Jennifer Webster (Ben) and Taylor Gooch (Danny); her great grandchildren, Peyton, Madelyn, Adyson, Karsen, Adelyn and Laynie; and her brother Gary Wheeler. She is also survived by relatives, friends, and neighbors.
