She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bernard and Mayme Lucille Harvey (Williams); her husband Robert Murphy; her brothers, Carl "Gene", Clinton and Clyde; and her son-in-law Paul Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Burton of Norris City, Vickie Holland of Enfield, Peggy Bryant of McLeansboro, Kim Bryant (Greg) of Norris City, Mike Murphy (Connie) of Norris City and Bob Murphy of Norris City; and her sister Patsy Atkins of Norris City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to First Baptist Church in Norris City and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
