She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Midkiff and Adella Midkiff (Hendrix); and her siblings, Ernest Midkiff, Ozna Midkiff, Thomas Midkiff, Virginia Remes, Denver Midkiff, David Midkiff and James Midkiff.
She is survived by: her husband Billie Ray Smith; her children, Brett Ray Smith (Darlene) of Mt. Carmel, Derek Lenn Smith (Jamie) of Norris City and Sonya Gail Smith (Brian) of Newburgh, IN; her grandchildren, Mallory Redel, Devin Smith, Brittany Ramsey, Hilary Vineyard, Matthew Kincaid, Claire Kincaid, Kyle Smith and Lilly Smith; her great grandchildren, Stryder Ramsey, Rylan Ramsey, Lyla Vineyard, Noah Vineyard and Flynn Redel; and her sisters, Faye Thomas of Harrisburg and Esther Coupel of Norris City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dana's memory to the Norris City Christian Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
