It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryle Leigh Walters of Norris City, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vonnell and Barbara Joyce Long (Morris); and her siblings, William Farin Long and Bonnell Long. She is survived by: her husband Rand Walters of Norris City, IL.; her sons, Ashley Rand Walters, Cody Daniel Walters and Adam Kyle Walters; her grandchildren, Austin Rand Quertermous, Eli James Quertermous, Addyson Jade Walters, Quinilly Harper Walters and Gabryel Reid Walters; her siblings, Desira Purcell (Greg) of Norris City, IL, Kathy Millspaugh (Keith) of Newton, IL and Barbara McKenzie (Earl) of Norris City, IL; and her mother-in-law Helen Abell of Norris City, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Cheryle's memory to Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, who is in charge of arrangements.
