Morris of Norris City, Illinois, born in Hamilton, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newton and Bertha Agnes Edwards (Hughes); her spouse Francis E. "F. E." Morris; her son Francis Russell Morris; her grandson William Chad Morris; her sisters, Wanda Edwards and Freda Doerner; and her son-in-law Harold A. "Has" Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Morris (Charlotte) of Norris City, IL, Alice Sutton of Norris City, IL and Marsha Price of Norris City, IL; her grandchildren, Shawnda Morris (Kit DeCorrevont), Amanda Cannon (David W. Doerner), Allison Grabert (Andrew), Victoria Woodrow (Justin), Scott Price (Tonya) and Gina Harms (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Tyler Gray, Morgan Warren, Seth Cannon, Asa Cannon, Lane Branson, Hallie Woodrow, Sawyer Woodrow, Arden Woodrow, Ashley Biggerstaff, Amber Price, Ethan Harms and Bryley Harms; her nephews, Brad and David Doerner; her caregivers, Tammy Cleveland, Sonya McCluskey, Janet Vickers and Angie Hayes; and her friend Rose Spence. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bertha's memory to Village Cumberland Presbyterian Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821 who is in charge of arrangements.
