He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriett Ergish and Donald Ergish; his brother William Ergish (Sue); and his brother-in-law Anthony Cioffi (Gloria). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A.; his children, Jeffrey J. Ergish (Lori) and Jennifer A. Staunton (Martin); his grandchildren, Gabriella, Nicholas, Lilly, Giuliana and Martin, Jr.; his siblings, Steven (Daisy), Thomas, Dennis (late Sandy), Jack (Diane), David Ergish (Cindy) and Donna Kuhn (Greg); and his sisters-in-law, Judith Zembowski (Stanley), Sharon Kamp (Bruce) and Blanche Ergish.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
