He is survived by: his children, Laura Warzacha (Ted) and Joe Jablonski (Kathy); his parent Anne; his stepchildren, Angie Valentini (Bob), Joe DiLorenzo (Julie), Mary Ann Miller (late Dan) and Rose Ann Petersen; and his siblings, Micky and Ernie.

“I just learned of Roy's passing. I have to say I'm broken hearted and feel the pain the family of Roy is feeling . I spent many days at O'Hare as a police officer with Roy and many road trips to Iowa hunting and days fishing in Illinois memorable days for sure. He will be sorely missed by many of his work mates and hunting buddy's in Iowa. I will pass on the sadness to his friends in Iowa. May he rest in peace and the everlasting light of our Lord shine upon him for eternity. Bye Roy....see you at the next roll call. You were always a dear friend. Dan Cirignani”
