He was predeceased by: his wife Janice; his parents, Angeline Kondos and Robert Kondos; and his brother Richard Kondos (late Christine). He is survived by: his sons, Christopher R. (Melody) and Phillip M. Kondos (Chelsea); and his grandchildren, Abrielle and Tyler.

“Please accept my deepest condolences on Bob's passing. I worked with Bob from 1993 until he left the CME, though we continued to stay in-touch until just a few months ago. Bob was one of the smartest people I knew. He had a great fun-loving personality, always had a few new jokes to tell me when we got together, loved good food, and (of course) good music, mostly classic rock. His knowledge of songs, recording artists, albums, and record labels was astounding. He will be dearly missed.”
