She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Salvatore "Sam" Vazzano; her daughters, Rose Vivirito (August) and Sarah Zirin (David); her parents, Rosaria Cassata (Polizzano) and Giuseppe Cassata; her grandchildren, Stephanie Burek (Edward), Jeremy Zirin (Julia), Cosmo, Salvatore and AnnaMarie Vivirito; her great grandchildren, Parker, Mila and Simon; her siblings, Salvatore (Giuseppina), Frank (Petrina), Barbara Cassata, Sarah Parcell (Charles) and Anthony Cassata; her niece Sarah Preston (Earl); and her nephews, Joseph Cassata (Marylynn) and Jeff Parcell (Denise).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Emily Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
