As Peter departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Peter. Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lupe, Frank Montoya, Fabiana and Pedro Alequin; and his brother Eric Alequin (Marlene).

He is survived by: his fiancée Nanci Simmons; his parents, Delia Alequin, and Peter Alequin, Sr.; and his nephew Daniel Alequin.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60706).
