He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his parents, Loreta Rago and Vito Rago; and his siblings, Domenico Rago (late Francesca), Maria Laudadio (late Carlo) and Stefano Rago (late Anna).
He is survived by: his children, Loreta Cichon, Catherine Rago (Rocco Ruffalo) and Vito Rago (Betty); his grandchildren, Lisa Wettstaedt (Jason) and Joseph (Laura); his great grandchildren, Parker, Aubrey, Isobel, Zoey, GiaNina, Jason, Elizabeth and Kaden; his brother Giovanni Rago (Margherita); his sister-in-law Veronica Gentile; and his niece Mary Cox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
