She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Engler; her daughter Lucie McDaniel (Michael); and her sisters, Lillian Funk (Paul) and Eleanor Block (Gerald). She is survived by: her children, Bradley Engler (Vinette) and Laura LaSpisa (Mark); her grandchildren, Aaron, Abra, Alana (Trever), Lauren (Jacob), John, Joseph, Christopher and Stephen; and her great grandchildren, Hazel, Eli and Jett.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
