She was predeceased by: her husbands, Frank Borek and Chester Kryst; her parents, Wanda Markuszewski and Boleslaw Markuszewski; and her sisters, Lillian Zaj and Regina Ludwa.

She is survived by: her sons, Lester (Marsha) and Henry Borek (Verna); her grandsons, Kevin (Sara) and Shane Borek; her siblings, Nina Kampioni and Richard Markuszewski; her nieces, Christine Dublin (James) and Alina Zaj; and her close friend George Unbiener.
