We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 56, Laura Stempien (Norridge, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Laura farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laura is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Monica Church (5136 N Nottingham Ave, Chicago, IL 60656). An entombment was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
