With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Fitzpatrick (Norridge, Illinois), who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and Francis; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his nieces, Cathy, Susan and Michelle.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656). A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM.
