She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas D. Newton and Agnes V. Newton of Chicago; her son Gregory; her brother Donald Thomas Newton; her former husband Joseph Nolan Miller; and her close friend Marjorie Wood.

She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Miller (Pamela) of Park Ridge and Steven Miller of Chicago; her grandsons, Aaron Miller (Cate) of Los Angeles and Timothy Miller (Beth Davis) of Gary; and her son-in-law Kelly Leggett of Chicago.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Central Baptist Village Home Life Fund.
