James Calamus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Calamus (Norridge, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Calamus and Colleen; and his brother Louis (Joan). He is survived by: his sister Deborah Calamus; his stepsister Laura Dellaca; his nieces and nephews, Dayna Negron (Daniel), Zachary Calamus (Heidi), Krystin Rice (Chris) and Michelle Dellaca; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas, Lucas, Penelope, Alexia, Gianna, Isaiah, Gabriel and Anthony.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
