It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giuseppe Centineo (Norridge, Illinois), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosaria; his parents, Vincenzo Centineo and Isabella Centineo; his sister Concetta Tumminello (late Santo); and his uncle Salvatore Pintavalle.
He is survived by: his children, Isabella Valenziano (Tony) and Vincent Centineo (Tina); his grandchildren, Anthony Valenziano (Moira), Vincent Valenziano (Danielle), Theresa Valenziano, Joey Centineo and Sara Centineo; his great grandchildren, Kieran, Connor and Quinn Valenziano; and his siblings, Lucia Fiduccia (late Sam), Francesco Centineo (Rosa) and Salvatore Centineo (Angela).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Eugene Church (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
