He was predeceased by: his wife Christine; his parents, Harold Rushton and Jean Rushton; and his siblings, Harold Rushton (late Bernadine) and Joyce Clark (late Loy).

He is survived by: his child Lauren Kondic (Stan); and his brother-in-law Michael Loffredo.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
