He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Stigerwald and Barbara Stigerwald; and his brother-in-law Michael Siciliano. He is survived by: his wife Karen Tummillo Bixler; his brother Stephen Bixler (Glenda); his children, Jennifer Brust (John), Gary, Jr. and Erik; his grandchildren, Vincent Buonicore (Anna), Christopher, Michael, Ciana and Hayden; his great grandchild Veronica; his stepchildren, Tony, Gia, Nanci Tummillo and Alex Makridis; his stepgrandchildren, Frankie Tummillo and Yanni Makridis; his siblings-in-law, Maria, Anthony and Bobbie; and his former wife Alice McKittrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
