She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Riggio and Santa Riggio; her husband John Douglas Baxter Sr.; and her son John Douglas "Doug" Baxter Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, David Baxter and Robert "Bobby" Baxter (Vasiliki "Vivian"); her grandchildren, Jeremy, John Robert and Lia; and her siblings, D. Mimi Boysen (James), Francesco Riggio (Susan), Santo Riggio (Gina), Luigi Riggio (Debbie) and Marianne Menacker (Allen).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Church (St. Eugene Church) (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
