With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caterina Brocato (Norridge, Illinois), who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Caterina is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Caterina's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Salvatore; her children, Shelley Troianiello (Gaetano), Russell Brocato and Diana Karras (Bobby); her grandchildren, Vincenzo, Salvatore Troianiello (Jessica), Gabriella, Georgie and Gino Karras; and her great grandchildren, Penelope and Aviana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634).
