With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carmella Mistretta (Norridge, Illinois), whose life came to an end on February 19, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Mistretta; and her siblings, Mary, Vince, John, Rose, Toni, Sam and Eugene.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward (Susan) and Ricky (Michelle); her grandchildren, Joseph (Juliette), Jess Vestuto (James), Anthony (Chelsea), Ali and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Isla Vestuto and Millicent Mistretta.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
In lieu of flowers or plants Carmella wishes donations be made to either of the following charities 1) Get Behind the Vest ℅ Chicago Police Memorial Foundation 1407 W Washington Blvd. Chicago, IL 60607, or 2) Archdiocese of Chicago Annual Catholic Appeal 835 North Rush Street Chicago, IL 60611-2030 in her name.
