We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2024, at the age of 90, Carmela Chiappetta (Norridge, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leopoldo; her parents, Filomena Ruffolo and Salvatore Ruffolo; and her siblings, Antoinetta Greco (late Vince), Jack (Raffaela), Frank (Anna Maria) and Angelo Ruffolo.

She is survived by: her children, GianFranco "John" (Linda) and Robert Paul "Bob" Chiappetta (Kay); her grandchildren, Nicholas James (Marissa Thompson), Christopher Thomas, Joseph Dominick (Alex), Amelia Rose and Sarah Marie Chiappetta; and her brother Mario Ruffolo.
