He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe and Maria; and his siblings, Gilda (Gigino), Rafaele (Fiorina), Antonio (Maria) and Rosetta (Michele).

He is survived by: his wife Eva; his children, Anna Raspanti (Salvatore), Brunella Valentino (David), Tatiana Rago (Luigi), Susanna Whitmore (late Gregory) and Francesco De Santis (Francine); his grandchildren, Rosa Rago, Gina Ristinen (Andrew), Luciana Johnson (Bill), Diana Raspanti, Amanda, Alexis Valentino, Adriana, Olivia Whitmore, Claudia, Valentina, Juliana and Lilia De Santis; his great grandchild Colton Johnson; and his brothers, Francesco (Adalgisa) and Luigi (Georgina).
