He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanna; his children, Patrice Cortese (James), Albert Bischof Jr. and Victor Bischof; his grandchildren, Michael Cortese (Stephanie), David Cortese, Melissa Cortese, Mary Ann Cortese, Thomas, Cody, Eric and Leigha; his great grandchildren, Max and Leo Cortese; his brother Herbert Bischof (Anna); and his sibling-in-law Camille Miller (late Mike).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Eugene Church (7958 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert's memory to Alzheimer's Association Albert was a strong, stubborn man who served his country honorably.
