He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Fredrick and Laura Whitehouse Newberry. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Raber; his children, Dr. Mark Newberry (Lorraine) of Saugatuck, Michigan and Lori Newberry (Keo Thompson) of Normal, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Alex and Ariana Newberry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joe Williams American Legion Post 55, Farmer City.
