She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernhard Ahrens and Clara Ahrens (Finke); her son Kevin (Doris) of Bloomington; her grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua Kothe; her sister Norma Kothe; her husband Albert Kothe; and her siblings, Gerhard Ahrens and Laura Brumund. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
