He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pohlmann and Clara Pohlmann; and his sister Wilma Hashagen. He is survived by: his former wife Elsie D. Uppendahl; his sons, James and Kenneth; his grandsons, Michael (Samantha Schultz) and Kevin (Ali); his great grandchild Tucker; and his wife Volunteers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, the Pohlmann Fund at Illinois State University, or to an organization of the donor's choice.
