She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Scanlan and Effie Scanlan (Carnes); her children, Brenda Siebert (Bob) of Bloomington and Lou Glisan (Juele) of Breckenridge, CO; her daughter-in-law Nancy Glisan; her grandchildren, Kelly Glisan (Erna) of Darian, IL, Shane Glisan (Shannon), Las Vegas, Luke Glisan (Kylie), Jeff Glisan (Enola), Andrea Thorpe (Don) and Danica Wilson (Brian); and her sister Mable Velge.
Velma Glisan Thomas, 102, of Normal, IL, formerly of Rock Island, passed away peacefully at 12:36 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018, at Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center, Normal.
