He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Olas and Maggie Marie Tolbert (O'Dell); his wife Esther Marie Hipp; and his siblings, Paul Glenn Tolbert (Evelyn), Lois Schroeder (William) and Joyce Winn (Robert).
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Spencer (Chuck) of Bloomington, IL, Carla Rich (Chuck) of Mattoon, IL and Tacie Cook (Scott) of Dawson, IL; his grandchildren, Taylor Spencer, C. J. Rich (Brittany), Chase Rich (Mary), Matt Rich (Brandie), Ryan Rich (Rochelle) and Megan Cook; his great grandchildren, Clayton Rich, Doc Rich, Asher Rich, Evan Bridges-Rich, Levi Rich, Ava Rich, Olivia Rich, Brooklyn Rich, Owen Rich and Lincoln Rich; his brother John Tolbert (Sheila) of Nanticoke, PA; and his sister-in-law Terre Hipp-Zerkle (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorials in Thomas' honor may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
