Symon L. Guthrie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Symon L. Guthrie of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Jasmin Guthrie; his brother Robert Dorsey, Jr.; his aunts, Michelle Guthrie and Adriane Guthrie; and his uncle Clifton Guthrie.
He is survived by: his father Robert Dorsey, Sr.; his wife Tanisha Brady-Guthrie; his daughter Audrey Dawson; his goddaughter Gabby Johnson; his siblings, Angie King (Jason), Sharhonda Hardin, Ebony Brady, LaRica Brady, Autumn Montgomery (Bill), Nick Guthrie (Erin) and Daryl Dorsey; his mother-in-law Rosalind Mosely (Chip); his friends, Danny Taylor, Rotney Cooper, Steven Strayhorn, Myron Gibbs, Jon Catellani, Bryan Booth, Michael Bennett, Daniela Alarcon and Chelsea Lusher; and his cousins, Daniel Akhimie and Dominique Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
