We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2021, at the age of 83, Sandra McBuurney-Walden of Normal, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Vernon and Helen May Kashner (Daily); her former husband Loren McBurney; her husband Richard Walden; her son Lawrence "Larry" McBurney; and her granddaughter Morgan Mays.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy McBurney Mays, Charles Vernon McBurney (Beverly) and David Lyle McBurney (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Brooke Gish (Blake), Brandi Johnson (Adam), Whitney Muir (John), Brianna Leak (Bill), Bailey Imig (David), Mackenzie Mays, Taylor Mays, Keenan McBurney and Lyle McBurney; her brother Vernon Kashner (Becky); and her sister-in-law Jeanne Kashner. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Peoria, Ill.
