It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Rose Slagell of Normal, Illinois, born in Flanagan, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Zehr and Rose Zehr (Bachman); her son Edward; her siblings, Fern Welsh, Eileen Lueck and Paul Zehr; and her siblings-in-law, Myrna Park, Betty Slagell, Roger Slagell and Delmar Slagell.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Slagell; her son Greg Slagell of Gridley; and her sister-in-law Wilma Zehr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
