He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hippolithus Henry and Gertrude M. Smartsy Muench; his wife Joan Brumbaugh; his children, Kathy Scott (Kevin) and John Muench of Normal; his grandsons, Steven Byers (Ginny) of Normal and Benjamin Scott of Chicago; and his great grandchildren, Ian and Mena Byers.
