He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Blunk and Bernice Blunk (Lown); and his wife Barbara Jane Lichty. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Venker (Pat) of Oldsmar and Cathy Kagel (Travis) of Normal; his grandchildren, Ashley Harper (John), Max Venker (Paige), Meghan Lais, Sam Venker (Sara) and Alex Lais (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Michael, Brooks, Weston, Raegan and Annie; his brother David (Sharon) of Danvers; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Mayes of Northville and Barbara Lichty of Normal.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Normal or to the Marine CORPS League Detachment 1336.
