Richard L. Sylvester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Sylvester of Normal, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, C. Victor Sylvester and Lucy Moberly Sylvester; his former wife Mary Frey; his wife Betty L. Jarman Charlton; his children, Kathy Sylvester and Randy Sylvester (Theresa) of Bloomington; his stepchildren, Becky Charlton, Quincy, Brett Charlton (Tiera) and Billie Sue Charlton of Hollywood, FL.; his grandchildren, Tiffaney Grant and Cali Oatis; and his stepdaughter Brenda Siwecki. He was also cherished by 16 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wishbone Canine Rescue.
