He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Olson and Esther Hogberg Olson; his son Mark W. Olson; his grandson Matthew Olson; his siblings, Marilyn Daughterty and Donald Olson; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Louise Jordan; his sons, Gregory Olson (Lynn) of Grand Junction, CO and Rodney Olson of Rockford; his siblings, Anita Wagner of Bloomington, Emmy Burke (Howard) of Creve Coeur and Darrell Olson (Jeannie) of Aurora, CO; and his granddaughter Hannah. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way and many nieces and nephews.
