With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rafiq Nota of Normal, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Rafiq may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rafiq leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parent Denzil Deavers. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nota of Normal; his children, Zaheer Nota (Katrina) of Brooklyn and Shiraz Nota-Dobashi (Nao) of Yokosuka, Japan; his granddaughter Aaliyah Nota-Dobashi; his siblings, Feroz, Aziz, Amin and Shenaz; and his mother-in-law Joanne Deavers.
Memorials are suggested to Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Normal.
