With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Paul Rasmus of Normal, Illinois, born in Chenoa, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Rasmus and Elsa McKinney Rasmus; his wife Pearl Bernice Rasmus; his siblings, Carl Rasmus (Helen), Donnie Rasmus (Sherry), David Rasmus, Corienne McCollum (Lyle) and Juanita Walter (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Gary, Darrel Isaacson, Bill Ribordy, Lyle McCollum, Roy Romaniuk and Janet Rasmus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Brown (Jeffrey) and Dana Knoerle (Michael); his grandchildren, Janssen Brown (Marie), Trace Brown (Nicole Murawski), Shay Brown (Addysen), Hope Knoerle and Jace Knoerle; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Ashton, Jax, Vera and Alaia Brown; and his siblings, Evelyn Ribordy, Ethel Gentes (Bob), Hazel Isaacson, Bessie Ritter (Chuck), Margaret Ketchmark (Gene), Janet Harrison (Bill), Doris Sawin (Chris) and Jackie Rasmus.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
