It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Charlene Smith of Normal, Illinois, born in Anna, Illinois, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rosson and Helen McMillion Rosson; her brothers, Larry and Dwain; her uncle Carl; and her aunt Mildred Sadler.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Smith; her daughters, Kimberly Smith of Champaign, IL and Lori Croke of Normal, IL; her grandson Christopher Lindsey; her granddaughter-in-law Hannah of Danvers, IL.; her great grandchild Halia Marie Lindsey; her siblings, Shelby Pickel (John) of Jonesboro, IL, Nancy Young (Brian) of Effingham, IL, Phillip Rosson and Kenneth Rosson (Ann) of Jonesboro, IL; her close friend Alice Sutter; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Greater Chicago Chapter of the ALS Association to help continue research for a cure one day for this horrible disease that took our beloved mom.
