It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Theresa Sweeney of Normal, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bumpy" Wulf and Mary Jo Wulf (Reis); her father-in-law Larry Sweeney; her brother-in-law Craig Sweeney; and her nephew Nate Pena.
She is survived by: her son Porter William Sweeney; her siblings, Teddy Wulf (Lindsay) of Western Springs, Katie Capps (Eric) of Granger, IN, Bobby Wulf (Alisa) of Normal, David Wulf (Angie) of McLean and John Wulf of Bloomington; her mother-in-law Patricia Sweeney of Bloomington; her siblings-in-law, Stacy Sweeney of Normal and Todd Sweeney (Renae) of Normal; and her nieces and nephews, Payton, Bane, Bo, Tucker Wulf, Charlie, Harrison, Winston Capps, Edison, Rocco Wulf, Auggie, Archie Wulf, Gabi Sweeney, Natalie Pena, Jameson and Murphy Sweeney. She is also survived by extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Theresa's memory to a fund benefiting her son, Porter William Sweeney.
